There are many ways to management a school web site. One somewhat expensive way is to outsource the whole thing. Pay a private company to design and maintain your school's site. The company handles all page changes. This ensures that a consistent look and feel is maintained throughout all pages.

A less costly solution is to have a group of people (maybe even a company) create the site, and few school employees manage the content. Each building may have a person that manages that building's content. This spreads the work load around, but depending on the expertise of each manager may lead to inconsistencies in the overall site.

A more likely scenario is that one school employee will manage the entire web site, and that person will be someone like the technology coordinator. With some good planning, and development tools, the tech coordinator can handle this task.
